It is the true story of Nevenka, who was on stage at the London Film Festival premiere, and whom we salute for the courage it certainly took to take her destiny in hand, during this difficult ordeal of the 90s.

Young Nevenka has the open-mindedness, seriousness and honesty of youth; she is capable, intelligent and hard-working, but she evolves in a world run by men, for men.

It’s a harrowing, but tense and superbly depicted spectacle, and for those like me who were alive at the time, a frightening mirror reflecting our past; lives from which we can only retract and shudder with shame.
